Caribbean Edition – Statia






ABOUT THIS PREMIERE
For the first time on Statia and in the Caribbean the UNICEF Child Rights Film Festival takes place. This is the biggest Caribbean Film Festival where children design and make their own film to learn about child rights.

On Statia the children from the after school programs Mega D Youth Foundation (MDYF) and Daughters of the King (DOTK) participate in the UNICEF Child Rights Film Festival 2018.

The children on Statia are very enthusiast to be part of this big event. One of the participants said: ”Yes! I will take part in a real movie!”

During the premiere the film ‘Be a buddy, not a bully’ from the Jungle Cats won. This film will represent Statia during the exiting regional final on 14 April 2018!

On Statia the UNICEF Child Rights Film Festival is made possible by the Ministry of Home Affairs and Kingdom Relations.
