Caribbean Edition – Saint Martin

For the first time on St. Maarten and in the Caribbean the UNICEF Child Rights Film Festival takes place. This is the biggest Caribbean Film Festival where children design and make their own film to learn about child rights.

On St. Maarten the schools and afternoon school programs Oranje School, Methodist Agogic Center, Belvedere Community School, Youth Council, No Kidding with Our Kids Foundation, and Asha Stevens Christian Hillside School participate in the UNICEF Child Rights Film Festival 2018.

During the premiere the film ‘Don’t do Drugs ’ from Hillside Christian School won. This film will represent St. Maarten during the exiting regional final on 14 April 2018!

On St. Maarten the UNICEF Child Rights Film Festival is made possible by the Dutch Recovery Fund. We work together with Youth Affairs, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport St. Maarten (MECYS) and IFE.
