Caribbean Edition – Bonaire

ABOUT THIS PREMIERE

For the first time on Bonaire and in the Caribbean the UNICEF Child Rights Film Festival takes place. This is the biggest Caribbean Film Festival where children design and make their own film to learn about child rights. On Bonaire the schools Kolegio Strea Briante, Kolegio PapaCornes, Stichting Professionele Kinderopvang Bonaire and Basisschool De Pelikaan participate in the UNICEF Child Rights Film Festival 2018.

Sterre from primary school de Pelikaan tells enthusiatically: “I learn a lot from this film festival. I learnt it is important that children have rights ánd that it’s important to treat children well”.

During the premiere the film ‘Ezjel’ from Kolegio Strea Breante won. This film will represent Bonaire during the exiting regional final on 14 April 2018!
